End of winter stuff

The Lloyd Pack was sure glad to say good bye to winter. We are more than ready for warmer weather and longer days, the end of school, and enjoying our first summer in our new house. But first we have to get through spring and 12 more weeks of school.

March was a fun month for us. I surprised my older 2 kids with a trip to Disneyland one weekday. One of my BFF's Julie, was visiting and we were able to meet up at Disneyland with just our older kids. Wow what a difference it makes going with no diaper bag, no strollers, and kids who don't need their bottoms changed. Also, Lilly also lost another tooth, I was able to take all 4 kids on a field trip with Bobby's class to the Huntington Beach Heliport, we went to my nephew's bowling party, and Michael and I were able to go on a hot lunch date for St. Patty's Day. Phew! And we still have Easter, Loralee's 2nd birthday, and spring break all next week!

Well we tried to get a group shot. But Heidi wasn't too interested, Loralee was no where to be found, and my brother also included himself in the shot.

In a week our baby is turning 2. Still in awe of how fast it has all gone. Loralee is really turning into a little kid now. Her vocabulary has just exploded and it's crazy that we can have regular conversations. She is still my crazy baby who climbs out or over anything, and tears anything apart that she can. But always with a smile on her face! I did manage to get a few pics of her playing in our front yard the other day.

This is one of my favorite pics of the 4 of them walking together

And we will end this lengthy post with the Easter Bunny pic because I just can't get enough of it

When he grows up...

Bobby recently turned five. He is all done being a toddler and is officially a big boy. No baby left in him. He holds a special place in my heart since he is my only son amongst a gaggle of daughters. There are so many things that are different about having a little boy. So many other interests and ideas that his sisters do not share. The way he tells me "I love you" out of the blue and always has a kiss or hug for me anytime of the day.

He loves cars with a passion and collects as many as he can. This is something that is unique to only him in our house. And when he grows up I am going to miss all the little cars that I find ALL over my house. Parked so neatly in odd areas.
