Lilly's 6th birthday pics

Lilly turned 6 back in October. Usually I take her to JC Penney's to get her pics done on or around her birthday. But this year she was in our good friend Sara's wedding as a flower girl in November. I figured you can't better pics than from a professional wedding photographer to document her 6th birthday. I still can't fathom that she is a first grader. She is really a funny, caring girl, trying to do her best to make others happy. Lilly is a great kid, even on her worst days which thankfully are few and far between. And after the events of the last few days, I'm more than happy to have my 6 year old, any way I can get her.  Here are the pics!

Good Bye November

Another month down and only one more to go in 2012. I feel like the kids just got out for summer vacation and here we are with Christmas right around the corner. Soccer wrapped up this month. We had Grandparents Day at Lilly's school. We had an amazing Thanksgiving. I'm already starting to plan Bobby's 5th birthday party (cannot wrap my head around the fact that he will be 5!) which is in early Jan. Things are moving right along for the Lloyd Pack.
Lilly's first grade picture. Doesn't she look 12 here?!

Bobby's soccer picture. He hated soccer. But of course now that it's over he keeps asking when his next game is. Go figure.

Lilly on the other hand loved soccer and cannot wait to play again.

Lilly won her first award at school! It was a Creativity Award for an art project she did.

I know I already posted this year's Santa pic on Facebook but just had to share it again because it is too funny. Heidi did NOT want to see Santa at all. The only way I could get her to stay in the pic was putting her in the stroller (which I didn't plan to have in the pic!). Loralee was happy to see Santa until I put her on his lap. Then she did everything in her power to escape. Lilly and Bobby were super happy to see him though.
One year they will all love seeing him and all will be smiling. And what will the fun of that be?

Heidi's 3rd birthday pics

I finally had a chance to take Heidi to get her 3rd birthday pics done. She was super easy about it. She doesn't look like a toddler anymore! She looks like a grown up girl. Boo! Heidi looks a little like Alice In Wonderland to me. Enjoy :)

Lilly's 6th birthday pics are coming soon. We had hers done when she was dressed up as a Flower Girl a few weeks ago at our friends wedding. Stay tuned!

October's Adventure

Phew October just flew by for us. We had so much going on that we are still trying catch our breath even though it's Nov. I have about a billion pics to share from a trip to Disneyland, the girls birthday party, trip to the pumpkin patch, and Halloween all rolled into one post. So here we go! Enjoy!

My uncle signs us into Disneyland every October for Lilly and Heidi's birthday. We had a fabulous time. We really miss our D-land passes but Disney is on crack if they think a family of 6 can afford their passes anymore. Bummer. So we make the most of our one trip a year for now.
Waiting to get in.
They did not actually enjoy riding Mr. Toad's but liked the car out front. Couldn't get this random crazy kid out of our pic.
We met Merida from Brave.

About 5 minutes into the drive home...

Now onto Lilly and Heidi's birthday party. Lilly wanted Scooby Doo and Heidi wanted a Disney Princess theme so we had a Scooby Doo Princess Party. It was an amazing party but I really think we are getting to that point where we need to have separate parties with friends and with family. There are just so many people that come (which we love!) but it gets chaotic at times and I feel like we never get to enjoy everyone's company. I'm thinking it over for Bobby's upcoming birthday in Jan.

Lilly's cake my mom made. A Scooby Snack
She also made Heidi's. Sleeping Beauty (Princess Booty according to Heidi)
We tried a slide this time instead of a bounce house. Not our fav but the kids still had fun. We will stick with bounce houses from now on.
The slide really worked better when we hosed it down so we let our kids use it as a water slide before and after the party
