Christmas 2011

We had a great Christmas as always. The kids got tons of great stuff and Michael and I even got a new flat screen TV from my parents. It was a lot of fun watching Loralee try and open gifts for her first Christmas. The other kids really helped her out though. It's so much fun watching Christmas through your children's eyes. They are so excited about everything and it's so easy at the ages they are to make them happy. And they are so grateful which is something that I think gets lost when they become older. I am just so happy that I have happy, healthy children to celebrate the holidays with. :)
All he wanted for Xmas was a blue camera. And that's what Santa brought him!
A pink hot wheels car!
Loves her new Minnie Mouse

Baby's first Christmas

And we got a great group shot of the Lloyd Pack all dressed up for Christmas! One of my favorite pics of the day. :)
One of the best thing about having 3 little girls is that I don't have to settle on one Xmas dress. I get to have 3 different ones and enjoy the variety.

And of course we can't forget a pic of our one and only little boy

Loralee is constantly pulling herself up and standing now! I am sooooo not ready for her to attempt walking yet. I just want to hang on to this last baby for a little longer. She's not even 9 months! Lilly walked at 10 months so I'm wondering if Loralee is on the same path as her oldest sister...

December Festivities

It's been a busy December so far. Lot's of birthday celebrations and holiday activities. And of course a visit to Santa at the mall for the infamous Santa pic. But we love this time of year seeing the kids excitement over all the Christmas festivities.
Love love love this pic of them! From left to right: Lilly (5), Heidi (2), Barrett (my nephew 21months), Loralee (8months) and Bobby (3). As you can see Heidi and Barrett are definitely not into Santa this year.

My dad's birthday. Lilly made him a pink cake :)

Michael's parents had an Xmas party. Santa came to visit (Michael's dad)

This is how Heidi felt about Santa

Goofing off in their jammies the other night

Big girl now! Loralee can crawl and sit up really well now. She has also mastered going from a crawling position to a sitting position and vice versa. No teeth yet but her bottom gums are pretty swollen. And of course she puts everything in her mouth!!

Thanksgiving pics and end of Nov stuff

Well of course here's the usual with me trying to get a group shot of all 4 kids together. This time actually went pretty well.

Bobby is going through this awesome phase where he sticks his tongue out when getting pics taken. Hoping it passes before his 4th birthday pics in Jan.

A little better but he's still not interested in picture time

Loralee's first Thanksgiving

My grandpa hands out goody bags and treats at Thanksgiving. Here's Lilly's new earmuffs for our frosty Southern California winters. She wears them around the house all the time.

Heidi's new headband

Lilly used her own placemat that she made at school

My little brother Jeremy and I

By the end of the day the baby was down to a long sleeve shirt and diaper

Other misc Nov pics...
The older kids like to dress up Loralee like she is some sort of doll. Luckily she doesn't seem to mind

And sometimes they carry her around like a doll too

A few weeks ago Bobby had Daddy and Me Day at school. Finally getting around to posting those pics
Michael had to go straight to work after. My dad was there too but I guess the guys forgot to take pics with him.

Busy November

Well we've been pretty busy around here and Thanksgiving hasn't even arrived yet! Both Lilly and Bobby had a lot going on last week at school. Lilly had Grandparents Day and the Kindergarten Thanksgiving Feast. We also had Veteran's Day off from school. Oh and we threw in taking our Xmas card pictures at the beach this year too. Lots of fun and still can't believe Thanksgiving is practically here.

We spent Veteran's Day at Pretend City. Way too crowded and definitely not a great place for kids under 2. But Lilly and Bobby had a blast. Would love to try it again sometime with only the 2 big kids and not on a school holiday.

Lilly's favorite part was the ATM because money would come out when you scanned your time card

One Sunday we headed to the beach to take our Xmas card pics. Thought we would try something new this year. We got exactly one that came out of all six of us. After Xmas I will probably post all the other ridiculous ones. And I can't show you the actual pic because that would ruin the surprise of the card. But here are a few others you can see.
This is one of my favorite pics of Lilly and Bobby. They did this totally on their own while they were waiting for us to set up for our pictures.  I want to blow this up and frame it so when they are teenagers and hate each other I can show them that when they were little they were inseparable. Also, this is probably the last year Bobby will be the same height as his big sis. I'm thinking next year he will pass her up in height since he already has in shoe size.

Heidi is losing her baby looks and really starting to look like a little girl now

Almost 4 years old

This pose pretty much sums up Lilly and her personality. We are in trouble!

Almost 8 months old. Has started crawling. Can sit up for a few minutes.

Lilly was dressed up as an Indian for Grandparent's Day

My parents and grandparents went. It was a very special day for all of them

Lilly was very sweet and let Heidi sit and do crafts with her

This was the picture she drew of my parents. Cutest thing ever. And I think it looks just like them!

I am one of the room moms in Lilly's class and helped with the Thanksgiving Feast last week. It was a lot of fun and the kids really enjoyed themselves.
The moms set the table before the kids arrived
For the feast Lilly was a pilgrim

Enjoying the feast

And last but not least, we went over to my parents Sat and baked Xmas cookies. We seriously don't have time in Dec so decided to do it early this year. Lilly was really the only grandkid interested in helping out this year.
