The end of 2011 pics

2011 was a great year for us. We had our last baby Loralee to complete the Lloyd Pack in April. Lilly and Bobby learned how to swim this past summer. Lilly started Kindergarten. Heidi went from being this quiet infant into a full fledged walking and talking toddler. Bobby taught himself to read and write at the age of three. Michael took his paid family leave from work and was able to spend the last 6 weeks of the year home with us (it was good for him to realize how much I really do staying at home with four kids!).

I'm really looking forward to 2012. Lilly is starting Girl Scouts this month. Heidi will start preschool in the fall. Our baby will turn one. And we are trying to figure out what to do with Bobby for the next school year since he is way ahead of kids his age academically yet not old enough for Kindergarten. We are also hoping to go to Wyoming with my family this summer since we didn't go last year since I had just had a baby.

Here are the last pics from Dec and Xmas break.

Took one last trip to Knott's just before Xmas since our passes expired Dec 31st. It was a lot of fun having those passes but I don't think we will renew until the kids get bigger. There's only so much Camp Snoopy a person can take and the kids aren't quite big enough for too much else there. Maybe in a few years we will get them again because the price was great.
Loralee all bundled up when it was chilly here instead of our usual 78 degree weather in Dec.
Almost 4 years old!
The bumper cars are the older kids absolute favorite ride at Knott's

Ready or not, here we come 2012!
