June pics

Summer is in full swing for us. We have been keeping pretty busy with trips to different parks, pools, and the movies. The weather has been perfect so far and the kids have been enjoying the Slip N Slide on the days we spend at home. Lilly will start Vacation Bible School in 2 weeks and Bobby and Lilly will do swim lessons again at the end of this month. Overall the start of this summer has been a great one!

Michael and Loralee on Father's Day

I have a first grader now...

Silly kid so excited to drink a soda on Father's Day

Still not having much luck getting pics of Heidi right now

The best pic I could get of the these two partners in crime

Oh I am saving this one for when she first brings a boy home. I can show him how she loved to dress herself when she was little. What a fashion statement red sparkle boots, purple skirt, pink shirt, and black and white striped headband make.

The nice thing about summer is that Lilly is home more to play with Loralee. They are getting really close which I love.

Lilly really gets Loralee laughing

Camping out in the tent. If you look closely you can see Bobby still asleep inside. The tent recently moved to our backyard so they are only playing in it during the daytime.

We finally decided to renew our Knott's passes. The kids really enjoy it and it gives us something to do in the evenings and on the weekends without spending money. Michael and I went alone together Sat night for a much needed date and to celebrate his birthday. I thought it would be funny to take a pic with these lovely ladies.

We surprised the kids Sun morning by taking them back to Knott's

Also, Loralee will turn 15 months old tomorrow! How did this happen? She is the funniest little baby. She is so busy running around trying to catch up with the rest of the Lloyd Pack.
Playing in an extra car seat

Running around Father's Day

Always smiling. Thought it was so funny and random how she happens to be wearing a Halloween bib and is carrying a pumpkin bucket around

Multitasking here. Playing with the computer and her doll while sitting on the train table

Everyone is always saying how much Bobby and Loralee look alike. So I wanted to compare the two of them at 15 months old. I do see the similarities although their personalities are like night and day.

And last but not least, my favorite part about summer activities is that it wears my kids out!

Yup she even drooled lol

Almost summer....

Well it seems like summer will never get here but I know it's just around the corner. This last week and a half of school is dragging. We've already started some of our summer activities like playing in the pool in the backyard and camping in the tent in our living room. We decided to kick off the festivities early ha ha. I hope we can keep busy when summer really starts and don't get antsy or bored too quickly.
Playing in the tent before bed

Silly little girls

Surprise!

Loralee was trying to climb out after Lilly zipped the door closed

Crazy kid

And it's hard to believe we have a 14 month old again...She's walking, running, talking, and most of all climbing all over everything. Still can't believe we are starting the toddler years for the last time. Luckily Loralee is our calm, sweet, easygoing kid and I'm hoping she stays that way.
Forever playing with remotes, cell phones, cameras, ipods, etc.

Loralee thinks you can talk on any of them

Always happy, always laughing. Finally got a pic of her walking.

 My littlest love
Playing in the park. She thinks she's one of the big kids now.
And maybe she is. Maybe it's mommy who's having a hard time letting go of the fact that she's bigger already than I want her to be...

And last but not least, here's a pic of Lilly breaking a board at her friend Ben's martial arts birthday party on Sat. I can't believe she did it and wasn't scared or nervous at all. I wish the pic had come out less blurry but it's hard to capture an action shot like that.

Good bye May...

May just flew by for the Lloyd Pack. Lilly's softball league wrapped up and Girl Scouts is winding down for the summer. School is almost done (16 more days for Lilly and 12 days for Bobby) and summer is practically here. Lilly and Heidi came down with strep throat and Bobby came down with bronchitis, followed by pneumonia. The pediatrician also diagnosed Bobby with asthma which wasn't a surprise but we aren't happy he has to start dealing with this at only 4 years old. Loralee finally cut her two top teeth and has also started walking! Of course I can't quite get a pic of either of these new things but hopefully will catch her showing off her new teeth and walking soon. On the bright side everyone is happy and healthy again and we are looking forward to a fun-filled, relaxing summer.
Closing Day for Huntington Beach Girls Softball. Lilly and her BFF Sofia

Almost 14 months old! And Loralee climbs up on pretty much anything she can.

She just looks so old here! Bums me out!

Silly Lilly

Heidi was telling me "No pictures please!" And Loralee is the "Where's Waldo?" in the background.

Lilly went roller skating for the first time at a friend's birthday party. She loved it! It was good practice for me too. Forgot how fun it is to roller skate.

Passed out about 2 minutes after we left the skating party

Bobby during his breathing treatment at the Dr's

He had to do this 3 to 4 times a day and by the last breathing treatment of the day he was exhausted and usually fell asleep. I also found that letting him listen to my ipod was a great way to get the 15 to 20 minutes to pass quickly. Now he only has to take his inhaler 2x a day for the next 2 weeks and breathing treatments only as needed.

Bobby and I while waiting in the car for Lilly to get out of school

We also had my nephew Barrett for a weekend. Lots of fun having an extra 2 year old at my house. Here's all 5 kiddos in my Suburban. You can barely see Loralee on the right since she is still rear facing in her car seat.

I put all 5 kids together for bath time. Barrett wasn't too sure about this at first (my kids are totally used to it) but after a few minutes he was playing and didn't want to get out.

Sisters...Loralee doesn't quite get how to ride her tricycle but loves to let the other kids drive her around while she sits on the back

Lilly's Open House. They gave us all her work from the entire year. Still cannot believe I will have a first grader this Fall
So hard to get Heidi to pose for pics these days. That's being 2.5 for ya!
Getting too big too fast

Easter pics finally....

Ok so I just realized I never got around to posting Easter pics. Figured I better do that before April is over lol. We spent the day with my family in Irvine. The weather was beautiful, we were all dressed up, and we topped the day off with an egg hunt. I love when holidays are relaxing and go smoothly.
We colored eggs a few nights before

The Easter bunny brought the 3 older kids giant balls along with a few tasty treats!

Sisters

The whole gang

Our awesome attempt at getting all the cousins together lol. Thought it was worth a try.

Cousins and friends for life (but over picture taking at this point)

My parents with all of their grandkids

My big girl. Hard to believe she is 5.5 already and almost done with Kindergarten!

Mom and I with the baby

Now that Heidi is 2.5 she is too cool for us

The Easter bunny came to Nana and Dat's house too!

And brought the kids new swimsuits!

And of course a little bit of candy...

Bobby still has time for a pic with me now and then

My littlest princess playing in her dress

On and egg hunt

Can't talk, too busy hunting

But Lilly ALWAYS has time to stop and pose for a pic

And it just wouldn't be Easter without wearing a singing Christmas hat right?
