Busy November

Well we've been pretty busy around here and Thanksgiving hasn't even arrived yet! Both Lilly and Bobby had a lot going on last week at school. Lilly had Grandparents Day and the Kindergarten Thanksgiving Feast. We also had Veteran's Day off from school. Oh and we threw in taking our Xmas card pictures at the beach this year too. Lots of fun and still can't believe Thanksgiving is practically here.

We spent Veteran's Day at Pretend City. Way too crowded and definitely not a great place for kids under 2. But Lilly and Bobby had a blast. Would love to try it again sometime with only the 2 big kids and not on a school holiday.

Lilly's favorite part was the ATM because money would come out when you scanned your time card

One Sunday we headed to the beach to take our Xmas card pics. Thought we would try something new this year. We got exactly one that came out of all six of us. After Xmas I will probably post all the other ridiculous ones. And I can't show you the actual pic because that would ruin the surprise of the card. But here are a few others you can see.
This is one of my favorite pics of Lilly and Bobby. They did this totally on their own while they were waiting for us to set up for our pictures.  I want to blow this up and frame it so when they are teenagers and hate each other I can show them that when they were little they were inseparable. Also, this is probably the last year Bobby will be the same height as his big sis. I'm thinking next year he will pass her up in height since he already has in shoe size.

Heidi is losing her baby looks and really starting to look like a little girl now

Almost 4 years old

This pose pretty much sums up Lilly and her personality. We are in trouble!

Almost 8 months old. Has started crawling. Can sit up for a few minutes.

Lilly was dressed up as an Indian for Grandparent's Day

My parents and grandparents went. It was a very special day for all of them

Lilly was very sweet and let Heidi sit and do crafts with her

This was the picture she drew of my parents. Cutest thing ever. And I think it looks just like them!

I am one of the room moms in Lilly's class and helped with the Thanksgiving Feast last week. It was a lot of fun and the kids really enjoyed themselves.

Enjoying the feast

And last but not least, we went over to my parents Sat and baked Xmas cookies. We seriously don't have time in Dec so decided to do it early this year. Lilly was really the only grandkid interested in helping out this year.

Studio picture time!

I recently took all 3 girls to get their pictures done. Lilly was due for her 5 year birthday pics, Heidi her 2 year ones, and Loralee's 6 month ones. I also dressed Bobby up in the off chance everyone was cooperating and I could throw him in for a group shot. Wishful thinking? Of course Lilly is an old pro at this and it took all of 5 minutes to get her pics done. Loralee was super easy too. Heidi not so much. She's just not in a picture taking mood these days. I'm hoping this phase will pass. All the kids go through it at some point. I think we did pretty well overall though. :)

Lilly Elizabeth 5 years old

Heidi Jean 2 years old
The only way we could get her to sit is if she was holding a pumpkin and even then it was tough

Loralee Catherine 6 months old

And here are the best group shots...

Halloween time!

The Lloyd Pack had a really great Halloween this year. We did our usual routine which is going to my grandparents house right down the street. We have dinner and then trick-or-treat in their neighborhood. It's so nice because we know a lot of the neighbors and they enjoy seeing the kids all dressed up. This year was especially fun because the 3 older kids are at such a fun age and really get the whole idea about going door to door for candy. And this was Loralee's first Halloween. She was totally fine being dressed up in the Lloyd family lamb costume and enjoyed being pushed around in her stroller. The older picked out what they wanted to be for Halloween all on their own this year too.

Our jack-o-lantern

I tried to get a pic of it all lit up

The last time to Lloyd lamb costume will make it's appearance. :( But I'm happy that every kid wore it for either their first or second Halloween.

Heidi as Minnie Mouse

I love how Barrett and Heidi held hands in the pics

We went to Camp Spooky at Knott's this past weekend as well.
