End of July pics :)

July was a fun month for us. We kept really busy with summer school for the older two kids, playdates, and watching my nephew three days a week. I'm looking forward to Aug because we are heading to Wyoming for two weeks. Then we get to relax a little before school starts in the Fall. I think it's better for the kids to keep busy but it is nice to slow down once in awhile. :)

Lilly's first Angels game!

Last night we took Lilly to her first Angels game. Uncle Jeremy went with Michael and I while my dad, sis-in-law Kat, and brother Kevin, watched the little yahoos. Lilly was sooooooo excited and could harldy wait to get there. I'm not really sure she knew what we were watching exactly but she was thrilled to drink soda all night. She made it through 6 whole innings before she'd had enough. Not bad for not even being four yet. :)

Heidi ~ 9 months old

Heidi Jean is nine months old today! She is still such a sweet and easygoing baby. Her newest trick is climbing out of her exersaucer and attempting to stand on her own. I'm pretty sure she's going to be my kid that climbs out of the crib. Heidi's two top teeth are almost through so she's been chewing on everything. We have to be so careful because she literally puts anything and everything in her mouth!

I wanted to add the other two kids at 9 months so you can compare them. None of them are really alike in personality but there are some similar physical traits between the three. You can definitely tell they are all related when together though. I kind of think Heidi is a combination of the older two kids in the looks department. But she definitely has the darkest hair and eyes out of all three.

So I've been watching my nephew Barrett for a few weeks now. We really have our routine down when I have all four kids together. Heidi and Barrett are 5 months apart but now that he's gotten out of the newborn phase and is really becoming interactive the two of them have been able to play much more. Here they are exersaucing together Wed afternoon. :)

Weekend fun

This weekend we had the family over to BBQ. The sun finally came out for a little bit and it was a beautiful day. My dad just got back from Wyoming and the kids were thrilled to see him. They really missed him while he was gone and can't wait for Nana to get back too.

Bobby is 2 and a half today! He wears the same size clothing as Lilly, wears a bigger shoe size than her, and is just about an inch shorter than her. It won't be long before he passes her up! Tomorrow he's going to try going to summer school with Lilly. Wish us luck!

Michael's Birthday

On Monday we celebrated Michael's birthday. We spent the morning relaxing at home and then went to Michael's parents to have cake. It was a nice relaxing day after our busy 4th of July. Michael also really enjoyed spending a four day weekend with us. The only negative part of the weekend was that it was FREEZING!
